Your 7-Day Itinerary
Cairo — Giza — Luxor
Each day has been intentionally designed to build on the one before — moving you through landscapes, temples, and experiences that mirror the stages of inner transformation.
Day 1 Grounding & Settling
When you arrive in Cairo, everything is arranged for you.
You're welcomed at the airport and transferred privately to your hotel, allowing your journey to begin in a calm and effortless way.
As you drive through Cairo for the first time, you'll notice the contrast immediately — movement, energy, history layered into a modern city. And yet, once you arrive and settle, something inside you begins to slow.
This day is intentionally gentle. It allows your body to:
- Release travel fatigue
- Adjust to a new rhythm
- Begin shifting from "doing" into simply being
You may not realise it yet, but this is where your journey truly begins.
Day 2 A Shift in Awareness
Your day begins in one of the most iconic settings in the world.
At the beautiful Marriott Mena House, you'll enjoy a traditional Egyptian breakfast with a direct view of the Pyramids. Fresh bread, local cheeses, honey, fruits, warm dishes — all served as the pyramids sit quietly in the background.
Few places in the world offer a moment like this.
The Giza Plateau — What You'll Experience
You then step onto the Giza Plateau, home to the last remaining wonder of the ancient world.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) is over 4,500 years old and was the tallest man-made structure on Earth for nearly 4,000 years.
What makes it fascinating:
- Built with over 2.3 million stone blocks, some weighing up to 70 tons
- Aligned almost perfectly with the cardinal directions (north, south, east, west)
- Still holds mathematical and astronomical precision that modern science continues to study
You'll also see:
- The Pyramid of Khafre (Chefren) — still partially covered with its original casing stones at the top
- The Pyramid of Menkaure (Mykerinus) — smaller, but uniquely built with granite
And then — the Great Sphinx. Carved from a single piece of limestone, the Sphinx has guarded this plateau for thousands of years. Its purpose is still debated, but it is widely believed to represent protection, wisdom, and awareness.
You'll also visit the Valley Temple, where ancient mummification rituals took place — one of the best-preserved structures of its kind.
The Oil Experience — A Living Ancient Tradition
Later, you step into something far more intimate. A traditional oil workshop, run by a Bedouin family, where extraction methods have been preserved for generations.
Unlike commercial perfumes, these oils are pure extracts, made using techniques that date back to ancient Egypt.
Blue Lotus Oil
Used in ancient rituals and ceremonies, often associated with royalty. It was said to be used by Queen Cleopatra. Known for its calming, slightly euphoric effect — helping the body relax and the mind open.
Myrrh Oil
One of the oldest recorded substances in human history. Used in temples, healing practices, and spiritual rituals for grounding and protection.
Other Essential Blends
Used for relaxation, massage, and energetic balance.
You don't just see them — you experience them through scent, which is directly connected to memory and emotion.
How This Day Feels
By the end of the day, many people notice:
- A quieter mind
- A deeper sense of presence
- A feeling of connection they didn't expect
Day 3 Layers of History & Human Expression
Today, you explore Cairo more deeply.
You begin in Old Cairo, visiting the famous Hanging Church, one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, built above the remains of a Roman fortress. You'll walk through spaces where early Christian communities gathered — simple, sacred, and deeply historical.
Then, you visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
One of the highlights is the Royal Mummies Hall, where you come face-to-face with some of Egypt's most powerful rulers — including Ramses II. These are not replicas — they are the preserved bodies of kings and queens who ruled thousands of years ago.
It's a powerful, humbling experience.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Later, you enter one of the oldest markets in the Middle East, dating back to the 14th century.
- Handcrafted jewellery
- Spices and perfumes
- Textiles and traditional crafts
It's vibrant, alive, and full of character. And within it, you begin to notice your own energy — how you move, how you respond, how you engage.
Day 4 Entering the Temple World
You travel to Luxor — often called the world's greatest open-air museum.
You walk the Avenue of the Sphinxes, a 2.7 km ceremonial road connecting Karnak and Luxor temples.
Karnak Temple
At Karnak Temple, you'll stand inside the Hypostyle Hall:
- 134 massive columns
- Some over 20 metres high
- Covered in hieroglyphs and carvings
It was designed to impress — but also to align the human experience with something greater.
Luxor Temple
At Luxor Temple, especially in the evening light, you'll see:
- Colossal statues of Ramses II
- Perfectly aligned structures built for ceremonial purposes
This is where many people begin to feel more open — without trying.
Day 5 The Deeper Journey
This day begins either with a hot air balloon ride at sunrise — floating silently over temples, the Nile, and desert landscapes — or a slower start at your hotel.
Valley of the Kings
Hidden in the mountains, this is where pharaohs were buried.
- Walls covered in detailed hieroglyphs
- Colours still visible after thousands of years
- Texts describing the journey of the soul
It's quiet, focused, and deeply atmospheric.
Temple of Hatshepsut
Built into the cliffs, this temple honours one of Egypt's most powerful female pharaohs. Its design is:
- Symmetrical
- Precise
- Harmonious with the landscape
A rare combination of strength and elegance.
Colossi of Memnon
Two massive statues standing for over 3,000 years, guarding the entrance to what was once a great temple.
What This Day Brings
- Emotional clarity
- A stronger sense of direction
- A deeper connection to themselves
Day 6 Feeling the Shift
By now, you begin to notice the change.
Not something dramatic, but something real.
You feel: calmer, more balanced, less reactive.
Everything begins to settle.
Day 7 Taking It With You
As you leave, you realise this was not just a trip.
You don't leave the same way you arrived.
You leave: more grounded, more present, more clear.
And that stays with you.
What This Journey Gives You
A quieter, clearer mind — free from the noise of everyday life
A deeper sense of presence and connection to yourself
New perspectives that come from stepping into ancient spaces
Memories that stay with you not as photos, but as lived experience
A feeling of being more grounded, centred, and balanced
Egypt is not just something you see. It's something you feel.
